Mythodea / Convent of Preperation
As summer came, the day rose not unlike the others before it. Birds were chirping, the clouds had parted letting in the rays of early afternoon beat through and, the town of Bad Holzbrück slowly stired into motion. It would not be long before the first caravans were sceen beyond the farmer's fields as they neared the site of Mitraspera's greatest festival, the Convent of the Elements. Yet this Convent was different. This Convent would be bittersweet. Among the letters from and the preperation for the journy south to Sarkan remained the looming truth that the Tribes of Mitraspera would meet there fate at Convent's end.

End of the Tribes?
The Elemental Tribes of Mitraspera have stood the test of time and have guided us since our first steps on the shores of Mythodea. Mitraspera herself had spoken to us some years past and foreshadowed her doom and the end of the tribes. The mythic continent of Mitraspera required what was once given. She asked for the tribes to return and be one with her once more.
Thousands of settlers cried out any way they could since that day and begged Mitraspera for another way, but no other path was given. Mitraspera needed the life she had given to create the tribes back so she could survive long enough for the rest of the living to save her from her demise. Although the will of the masses were against it, at this year's Convent of the Elements, that day finally came.

Mitraspera manifested a body with which we could communicate, and the tribal peoples could embrace. She spoke with them, and she spoke to us. She welcomed every tribal member individually into her all-encompassing embrace. Some tribe's people welcomed their fate gladly while others scorned it, but they did what was demanded. One final gesture was permitted, and some used it for one final call back to the children of Mythodea they had educated and broke bread with for so many years. Some used their time for a gest to bring hope while others used it to say one name of the person who relieve their echo. The settlers cried out for their loved ones among the tribe's folk. Even the children were in mourning as Mitraspera took them one by one.
When the last of the tribespeople joined with Mitraspera, Mitraspera had much to say before she too returned to slumber. She told us what was to be done in Sarkan. We were to find that key to her survival in the 3rd Sister. This we knew. She then offered us gifts such as the chance to escape death should we still have work left to do. And she left us with the memory of what she had gifted Mitraspera so long ago, the Tribes. Then, her manifestation returned to the land and the gathered masses began to depart.
That was, until someone heard something at the forest's edge near Bad Holzbrück. A Naldar? No, three of them? A Sipho? A Narech'Tuloch? How? Why? Some had been returned to us. Some still lived!
New Realms of the Ruler's Council
Every year the leader's of Mitraspera meet at Bad Holzbrück on neutral ground for the Ruler's Council. The Council plays host to the most powerful people in Mitraspera giving many of them the right to be seen, heard and even to vote on the fate of the land and is people. For a realm to gain the right to vote on the council one must prostrate themselves before it, declare their intentions and what they can provide to the common causes and, ask the honored Councilors for the right to be one of them. This year was no different.
The first of the realms to present themselves were the Herzsucher. With little question, the Herzsucher were voted in as the first of the realms that would be newly granted voting rights on the Council. The next realm to present themselves was the Duchy of Validar who hold lands in Kahl'Hatra. Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood announced the Duchy of Validar and its representatives, Baron Loken of the Vaettir, the Duchess Vanadis von Goldgrund and himself, the Baron of East Blackwood.
Duchess Vanadis stepped forward and presented the Duchy of Validar to the gathered lords and ladies of the council. She explained the mission of Validar and its intent to be both landholders of Kahl'Hatra and a voting member of the Ruler's Council. One raised a question. "Three years ago, Validar stood here and told us their goal was not to be a realm in their own right but to purge Kahl'Hatra of the Forsaken. What has changed?"

Her Highness Vanadis answered with grace and dignity, "Three years ago Validar was born on the back of the Crusade of the Elements. The mission was and still is to purge the lands of Kahl'Hatra of the Forsaken. To keep them from returning we needed to stay. So, to answer you question, yes, a lot has changed. Validar wishes and has need to stay within Kahl'Hatra along its allies. The Duchy of Validar desires to become a realm among those honored here. A realm with full voting rights." While the words recorded here are but a summery of what was spoken, the results spoke for themselves. The Duchy of Validar was voted in as a voting Realm of the Ruler's Council.
The next realms presented were cause of debate and their matters were moved to the following day's council meeting. Porto Franco and the Fjordländer were later voted into the Ruler's Council as observers while the Söldner's host of Mitraspera withdrew their initial request of membership after hot debate. Of those presented, only the fate of the Wayfarers remained.
Ahren von Whitestone presented the Wayfarers designs on becoming a voting member realm of the Ruler's Council. An objection form his excellency Koptar, the Archon of the North was raised. "The Wayfarers hold no land in Mitraspera. The North does not feel as though the Wayfarers have enough to anchor their loyalty to Mitraspera. If the Wayfarers were to hold land then perhaps the North could change its position."

When the Archon of the North was finished speaking, Falk, the Regent of Münzquell spoke his mind on the matter. "Münzquell agrees with the North on the matter of land holding and adds that the City of Porto Leonis, its Terra Tunnel entrance and, its attending lands lay unprotected. Münzquell proposes that the Wayfarers be given theses lands to protect and hold. In doing this, Münzquell would accept the Wayfarers into the Ruler's Council."
After a night's deliberation and council, Ahren von Whitestone, the Consul of the Wayfarers, proposed an alternative offer. "Although I do not understand the necessity to hold land, let the Wayfarers present an alternative suggestion. Let us take our ships to the archipelago left over after the fall of the Eastern Seal. We will investigate and combat any Skargen and Forsaken activity there and then settle some of the small islands. This will secure us the land that the members of the Council deem necessary while also being better for the seafaring folk that make up the bulk of our number. This also serves the Wayfarer's original mission of brining new settlers to Mitraspera."
The Archon of the North, Koptar, stood up and said, "The North accepts and supports this plan." Falk, Regent of the Münzquell did the same however the look of surprise on Consul Ahren's face was for the Archon alone. He apparently had not expected that response. Soon after a vote was called and the Wayfarer's were welcomed as the newest voting realm of the Ruler's Council.
The Tables of Rule

As the ruler's council met for the first time at this year's Convent of the Elements, the pavilion filled up quickly. As the nobles and leaders of the various realms took their seat, speculations could be made. The central table where the hosts of Council, the North, sat, before them also sat the representatives of the Fortres of Diversity and Aufbruch. One other grouping of note was that the Western Seal, Märkischer Bund, Southern Seal and Duchy of Validar that also found themselves at a single table.
Sitting between the tables of the Herzsucher and the above mentioned group were the representatives of the Münzquell who shared space with Porto Franco. In another corner of the pavilion were representatives of the Wayfahrers close to those form the Fjordlander and others. One can speculate as to who has close relations with who within the leadership of Mitraspera just be observing where they place themselves at the council.
Squire Tawar Roknar of the Thoringaard

During the first night of the Convent of the Elements this year, Barons Dagger of East Blackwood and Loken of the Vaettir hosted Validar Court. During the proceedings, Baron Dagger spoke of his intentions to build up the knightly order the Knights of Blackwood within Mythodea. To do that, new knights would have to be trained and named. Those deeped worthy would need to express certain qualities and strength of character. Baron Dagger explained that he had begun to see those qualities and strengths in who he hoped to be his second and final squire, Tawar Roknar of the Thoringaard.
"Over one month ago I told you what my intentions were and what my reasons are. I said you were ready and worthy to help Dame Sayeh and I build up the Knights of Blackwood within Mythodea. I said then that you had until the Convent of the Elements to decide. It is Convent... What is your answer. Declining will be no loss of honor or the loss of respect I have for you as a man and as a leader."
Tawar stood up from his seat, "I will accept. I will become your squire. I will be a squire to the Knights of Blackwood."
"Then come before me." Baron Dagger stood up from his throne and Tawar walked to him under a hail of cheers and applause. The two gripped forwarms in greeting as a binding gesture. "Then welcome my squire. We have a long road ahead of us."
Captain Sir Logaan of Arven
During the Spring Campaign into Black Dynasty controlled Kahl'Hatra, the combined might of the realms of Mitraspera struggled to anchor the Temple of Eternal Battle. Standing in their way was the Black Dynasty, Skargen, Undead Flesh and the remnants of the Pestilence. During this time, the Duchy of Validar was led on the field by Ser Maron the Marshal of Validar. Under his command were officers from within the Baronies that make up Validar including Sir Logaan of Arven.

During one particularly bloody engagement with the Black Dynasty, Ser Maron was unable to maintain command. In that moment, Sir Logaan of Arven stood up and presented a solution to both win the engagement and to get the Validarian host off the field safely. Sir Logaan proposed a duel between three of the Dynasty's best and three of Validar's. If the Dynasty won, Validar would hand over the crystals they had captured that the Dynasty needed. Validar would be permitted to leave the field unmolested.
If Validar won however, they would get a Black Dynasty golem and be permitted to leave the field unmolested. The stakes were high, but Validar prevailed. The Dynasty were without one of their deadly weapons and Validar was able to withdraw to recuperate and lick their wounds. Some time later, Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood was asked to meet with Ser Balor the Red and Ser Maron. They spoke highly of the deeds and leadership of Ser Logaan.
Baron Dagger wrote the Commander of his Embassy Guard, Anthem DeVigil delos HORD and recommended him for promotion to Captain of the Guard. This letter of recommendation was read before those gathered in the Validar camp at the Convent of the Elements as well as the decision of Commander Anthem. Sir Logaan is the Embassy Guard's newest Captain of the Guard. He joins Captain Varn Delany in this regard. We at The Ambassador congratulate Sir Logaan on his well earned promotion.
Council Meeting of Benedicts Haffen

The first Council Meeting of the City of Benediktshafen or Benedict's Landing took place at the Convent of the Elements in Bad Holzbrück. Tillia de la Rocca, Consul of Benedict's Landing, gathered the mayors of the city, citizens and other Validarians in Duchy of Validar's pavilion for the meeting. During the meeting, the primary topic of discussion was about trouble within the city that was said to be caused by the soldiers of Ruben von Rabensburg.

Residents of the city complained that Ruben's men had been causing trouble in the city suggesting that criminal activity had been running rampant. One rumor that came out of the City Council meeting was that Ruben's ships had blockaded the city port at Collin's Bay and had done so for months. This of course is not true as we at The Ambassador have passed through that port twice in the last month with no issue. While it may be true that Ruben's ships were anchored in the bay and some of the docks were filled with smaller skiffs, no blockade has been in place by Ruben von Rabensburg or anyone else for that matter.
Ruben von Rabensburg's own Kahl'Hatran claims lay northwest of Benedict's Landing up a river tributary which is too shallow for deep sea faring ships. Ruben would have to leave his largest vessels in Benedict's Landing. This speaks to another issue plaguing the young and rapidly growing city, docking space. The city is growing faster than the continued construction of its port can match.
Some reports from anonymous sources suggest that another party or parties within Validar or without were trying to sow discord between the hosts of the Crusade of the Elements. Who these bad players may be is yet to be determined but we here at The Ambassador were assured that the Investigators are on track to uncovering the truth. So for now, Ruben von Rabensburg has been proven to be without fault even if some of his soldiers who pass through Benedict's Landing could learn some manners.
Gideon Klaud, Sworn Citizen of Blackwood
The Kingdom of Blackwood is a collection of demesnes beyond the fog far to the West. The Kingdom's enclave in Mitraspera is the Barony of East Blackwood. The East Blackwood Embassy at Grain Qui'henya, Western Seal manages affairs of Sworn Citizens of the Kingdom of Blackwood within Mitraspera. The Legates East and West, Baron Dagger of East Blackwood and Dame Sayeh of Sapphire Isle, have been given the authority to grant Sworn Citizenship of the Kingdom of those they deem worthy.

The official process holds that one must swear oaths of fealty to the Crown and Lands of Blackwood in written form. This document is reviewed first by the Legates East and West before being sent on to the Kingdom of Blackwood. The Sworn Citizens and at least one Legate then call the candidate to a private meeting where the candidate is asked one question per Sworn Citizen present. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Legates present make their decision known, to welcome a new Sworn Citizen of Blackwood not to.
At this year's Convent of the Elements, Lady Anna-Katharina von Rabenau, Master Djako Kaevh, Ser Bodvar Tock and Baron Dagger Arkenstone, Legate of the East presided of the matter of Gideon Klaud. After four questions were asked and answered, Gideon Klaud was asked to return to the East Blackwood tent where Baron Dagger, Legate of the East, delivered his and Legate of the West Dame Sayeh's decision.
"The decision was made a year ago. This was just a formality, welcome to the Kingdom of Blackwood." – Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood, Legate of the East
Gideon Klaud now maintains an elevated status within East Blackwood which includes new freedoms and responsibilities. As a permanent resident of the Barony of East Blackwood in Validar, Gideon will become an Emissary of the Kingdom of Blackwood and aid in matters of diplomacy withing Mitraspera and beyond.
Letters from Sarkan
During the Convent of the Elements, each realm present received letters from various lands outside of Mitraspera. With the expedition to Sarkan on the horizon, it was expected that some sort of contact would be made. Although this writer was not privy to the contents of all letters that came from Sarkan and beyond, some information was still gathered for you honored readers. The Inquisition has judged that Mitrasperans may enter Sarkan.

The Kingdom of Greifenbronn presented its mighty army in written word stating that those who befriend their kingdom will earn a powerful ally. Otwin von Rabenfels the Chief Scribe to Eldenburg warned on behalf of the Seneschal of Greifenbronn Duke Wiegfried von Biekheim that should the peace be broken, every offence "will be crushed against the Grimmwall and the blade of the Order of the Griffen." Otwin von Rabenfels also warned that Greifenbronn are the oldest friends and most fervent supporters of the Inquisition stating that they fight excess in its forms until their own death. In the same stroke of the quill, Otwin von Rabenfels warned of their enemies, the Nocturnes who they claim to be vile and corrupt of soul.
As this was just one of many letters received by the Realms of Mitraspera during the Convent of the Elements, one thing is made clear, Sarkan is a place of difficult diplomacy and scathing intrigues. In representation of the merchants and tradesperson of the Mitrasperanische Hanse and beyond, the Duchy of Validar Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood begged the members of the Ruler's Council to approach the expedition with caution and diplomacy.
"War is the bane of trade unless your trade is selling weapons." – Mitrasperanische Hanse Quote
East Blackwood Harbor

Ground has been broken on the East Blackwood harbor project in north-eastern Kahl'Hatra. Currently the Duchy of Validar extends along the west bank of the Mother Stream River from East Blackwood to Benedict'S Landing. The river has become a major trade thoroughfare since the end of the Cataclysm making the need for such harbors even more pressing.
The East Blackwood Company entered contract negotiations last year with the Quarmezin Trading Company for the construction of the river port. An agreement was reached earlier this year. Large shipments of gravel have begun to be sent down river from Saint Lilly's Sanctuary to East Blackwood's southern peninsula where the work has begun. The majority of the labor has been taken over by the East Blackwood Company with Master William Klatch leading the carpentry.

Shipments of supplies have been heading down river from Fort Confluence as well. The initial work of moving supplies close to the site has been a cumbersome task given the Barony's poor infrastructure. This harbor seeks to solve that problem for future endeavors. For now, the first work has begun. Sahid Al Kalif, a merchant of the Quarzmezin Trading Company, commented, "There will be four main docks and two deep sea docks at first. The deep-sea docks will require the most work and it will be difficult."
Another merchant, this time from the East Blackwood Company, added, "When the construction is complete, East Blackwood will be a needed stop along the mother stream river for trade flowing from the Realm of Roses and Free Cities to western Märkischer Bund, to the rest of the Duchy of Validar and beyond to the Western Seal, Southern Seal and to the new lands being settled by the Fortress of Diversity."
Embargos Lifted
Last year at the Convent of the Elements in Bad Holzbrück, the Mitrasperanische Hanse and all its member parties voted on two trade embargos. The first embargo was against the Realm of Roses as a form of trade punishment for the actions of the Court of Roses and Thorns in connection to the Black Dynasty agreement they made over a year ago. This trade embargo was only on luxury goods as the desire was to punish the court and not the people of the realm.
The second trade embargo was a complete embargo against the Märkischer Bund. This was the direct result of years of discussions between the Hanse and the Bund over the ownership and use of Thousandwasserhaffen. The port city had been built, complete with dry docks and everything needed for shipwright, by the Mitrasperanische Hanse during a time when the Freyenmark ruled those shores. When the Freyenmark became the Märkischer Bund, the city's Consul, Tarres O'Grady Windschreiter, was nowhere to be found. He has been since the Cataclysm presumed dead which forced the Hanse to rebuild itself.
The result of the breakdown in communications between the Hanse and the Bund was a complete trade embargo for one year and one day. A new trading company to the Märkischer Bund, the Drei Raben, took great interest in solving the problems between both the Bund and the Hanse. They quickly got to work as mediators between both parties. Together a solution was made, and the Hanse appeared to be satisfied. This, however, did not end the embargo.
After the standard year and a day was up, on the second day of this year's Convent of the Elements, both embargos were lifted. At present, the Mitrasperanische Hanse and its members have no embargos within Mitraspera.

Validar Ropes and Knots Course
The for the second time in three years, Master William Klatch hosted his course on Knots. The class took place during this year's Convent of the Elements in Bad Holzbrück and included many knot making techniques as well as practical exercises to help better learn how to perform them. Such skills are important for camp building, dock work, sailing and many other important tasks and jobs throughout Mythodea.
As Master William will be focused heavily in the coming year or two on the construction of the new East Blackwood harbor, the next possible course could be two or more years away. We at The Ambassador will keep you informed if we get any information on the next class.
An End to Torment, the Freeing of Mako Tock
For five years, the East Blackwood Company and Nova Bretonia have held a poorly kept secret. Their master scribe had a demon inside her. The matter was first discovered five years ago while both East Blackwood and Mako Tock were in Nova Bretonia. In the following years, attempts were made to remove the demon, but the attempts were broken up for fear of killing Mako.
Later, Mako became pregnant with child. The fear that the demon could harm or corrupt the child, or worse, could make the baby part demon, ran rampant. To protect Mako, Rii Isenden of Nova Bretonia had Mako brought back from the Barony of East Blackwood in Validar to the Nova Bretonia in the Western Seal. There, she was watched over and protected until the baby was born. We are happy to report that the baby was not afflicted.

After the baby was born, Mako briefly returned to East Blackwood to continue her work. She was, however, changed and the marks of the demon were visible on her now. Mako's symptoms worsened as the demon began to speak through her more often. As the problems persisted, Mako returned to Nova Bretonia once more for rest and observation. In this time a solution was found and none too soon for Mako was with child once more.
Not wanting to go through what she went through in her first pregnancy again, Mako traveled with East Blackwood to the Convent of the Elements and gathered her friends and allies about her. The fire mage, Julista led a ritual with removed the demon in parts so as not to harm Mako or the Baby. At the end, the demon was successfully removed and Mako Tok has once again returned to Nova Bretonia for recovery.
Marshal of Validar Temporarily Relieved of Duty

Before the Convent of the Elements, Ser Maron the Marshal of Validar had picked up a red gemmed neckless on the battlefield. The piece of jewelry appeared to have enticed him to put it on somehow. The Marshal became somewhat fascinated by the neckless and brought it with him to Bad Holzbrück. Once there, he showed the item off while he wore it.
Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood seemed to find it strange how Ser Maron was acting. While talking to Maron, Baron Dagger asked Tillia de la Rocca and Diob the Two Tailed Fox from Irenath to analyses the neckless. Once one of them touched it however, Ser Maron pulled away and defended it as his. As far as we writers of The Ambassador are aware, that was not normal Ser Maron behavior. Baron Dagger must have felt the same as once the neckless was removed from Ser Maron, Dagger ordered Tillia to take the matter of the arcane into her care.
At this moment, Ser Maron became incensed and lashed out. Baron Dagger announced then loudly, "As of this moment Ser Maron is not fit for duty and is hereby temporarily removed of his title and position as Marshal of Validar. Sir Logaan and Ser Markus will take his place until such a time as Ser Maron is cured." Baron Dagger than ordered the soldiers of Validar to hold Ser Maron while the mages did their work.
The magical analysis of the neckless proved the item to be cursed. Maron himself was cursed. As of now it is believed that Ser Maron is better and once again fit for duty. The source of the neckless has not yet been determined.
Pompfball
In their third year as a team, returning champions Validar Wildfire had a partial lineup change while brining back some of their greats for the previous year. Ser Markus Tullius replaced Baron Tarin Hammerschmidt of Gorasia as Team Manager. Ser Maron remained Team Captain and some of the players returned from Free and Wayfahrer camps. Also returning to the team after missing the previous year were East Blackwood's Djako Kaevh and William Klatch. Along with the changes to the lineup of the returning champions the multi time champion team that was banned the previously year, Viribus United, has also made a return.
The first of the two days of the tournament began with the group phase. Validar Wildfire, the Märkischer Bund team, BSG Adlerklaue and Western Allstars made up one of the groups. The Märkischer Bund team did not show for the second game of the tournament which would have been against returning champions Validar Wildfire. The Bund was disqualified and all other games in the group finished 0:0. That made the last game of the group came, Validar Wildfire vs. Western Allstars, it decided who would move forward onto the semi-finals.

Validar Wildfire vs. Western Allstars ended 1:0 but the game was very close. This qualified BSG Adlerklaue and Validar Wildfire for the semi-finals. The semi-finals saw newcomers Drea Drescher vs. BSG Adlerklauer the runners up from the previous year and Pömpfers Arrival, also a new team, vs. Validar Wildfire. BSG Adlerklaue defeated Drea Drescher while Validar Wildfire came on top in their matchup against Pömpfers Arrival which ended 2:0.. Validar Wildfire was especially dominant in their semi-final game as they played the majority of the game in their opponent's half of the field.
The final saw last year's rivals, BSG Adlerklaue vs. returning champions Validar Wildfire. The game was well fought with BSG giving it their all. The Wildfire goalie was injured during the first goal of the game and had to leave the field. In the second half, BSG Adlerkalue scored two goals on Validar Wildfire. Not ones to leave the field dishonored, Validar Wildfire scored a goal in the ending seconds of the game bring the score to a respectable 2:1.
BSG Adlerklaue are your new Mythodean Pompfball World Champions! The Ambassador congratulates the Blutpakt and BSG Adlerklaue on their well-earned victory.
Sir Markus Tullius the Manager of Validar Wildfire commented, "We might not have kept the title this year, but I am still very happy with the performance of every player. We fought very hard, but in the end, you have to respect the skill and determination of our opponents in the finale. I am sure we will keep our momentum from this strong season and return to the finales again next year."
Champion of the Guard 6

Every year since its founding in the last year before the cataclysm, the East Blackwood Company's Embassy Guard holds a tournament to find out who is the best of that year's available Guardspersons. As tournaments go, this year's proved to be smaller in nature, likely due to the need of soldiers on the frontlines of Kahl'Hatra all year long. The tournament itself was a success and the Embassy Guard has a new champion, Sir Logaan of Arven, Lord of Logaanheim.
Tournament Results:
- 1st Sir Logaan of Arven, Lord of Logaanheim
- 2nd Tawar Rocknar, Squire to the Knights of Blackwood and Leader of the Thoringaard
- 3rd Willibald, Guard of the Embassy Guard and Master Tradesman of the East Blackwood Company
Prior Champions:
- 1st Eridan Crabsbane – Served over one year ending his service during the Cataclysm.
- 2nd Cae of the O'Anid, First Speer of DelRiada – Served for near a year ending his service at a festival in Lunorth in the latter half of the Cataclysm.
- 3rd Sir Lordas Palatinus – Served until the siege of Tera Ankor before ending his service in tournament.
- 4th Logaan of Arven – Served for two years before ending his service in tournament at the Convent of the Elements 4 N.d.K.
- 5th Broyan – Served for just under a year before ending his service just before the spring campaign in Kahl'Hatra 5 N.d.K.
- 6th Sir Logaan of Arven, Lord of Logaanheim – won his title in tournament at the Convent of the Elements 5 N.d.K. Congratulations Sir Logaan of Arven, Champion of the Guard

Tawar, a King Once More
Last year during the Beltane Festival hosted by the Western Seal in Bad Holzbrück, Tawar of the Thoringaard defeated the competition and became the Summer King. This year, the kings of the past Beltane festivals were called once more and once more Tawar achieved greatness in the eyes of the ancestors. This time, however, the Convent did not fall over Beltane and thus a different title was bestowed upon the glistening head of Tawar, last King of Summer. Tawar is now the Oak King and we at The Ambassador congratulate him once again.
Liqueur and Spirits Competition

As with previous Liqueur and Spirits Competitions, there was a pre-tasting on the second night of the Convent N.d.K 5. On Saturday, the 5 best liqueurs were selected by a jury. It is worth mentioning that the lost master merchant Féwaé Méllinar Vitèz from Münzquell, who was thought to be dead, had turned up shortly beforehand and was immediately back as an organizer. That he was able to get back to work on something he loved likely assisted in his recovery.
Horizon, the minister of Diplomacy of the Märkischer Bund was prevented by the Nyamen exams from hosting the event alongside Lady Lowis and Master Féwaé. This could have spelled doom to the competition as it was set to be hosted in the camp of the Märkischer Bund. Luckily, a marcher by the name of Maximilian stepped felt the burning of intoxication and stepped up to host alongside Lowis and Féwaé saving the event.
Due to the time of day, Lady Lowis Arkenstone, Lady Konsul of Eagle's Rest declared a "Late Afternoon of Wild Intoxication" instead of a "Night of Wild Intoxication". There were around 30 participating liqueurs and lots of willing test subjects. The editor of the Sterndeuter newspaper is said to have brought his article to the editorial office completely drunk. Something the editors of The Ambassador would never do. The atmosphere was ignisibly great.
The winner of the tournament was Master Kalandor from the House of Oron with his Potentium VI. The gentleman from Oron was presented with a bag filled with coin, a grand trophy, fame and glory.
Rummors
Tendal Burns His Meat? Rumor has it that the Ignis Mage Tendal burns his meat to a crisp before consuming it. Its this simply a mater of taste or is he part dragon?
Sir Maron 8 Rumor has it that Sir Maron likes sweets so much he once ate a gumdrop the size of a small wagon in one sitting.
Lady Anna-Katharina von Rabenau already Married? Rumor has it that Lady Anna of Blackwood and Irenath was secretly married to Sir Raven, the Lord Protector of Irenath this past winter. If this rumor is true then what will become of her people once the Viscout of Tamgorod learns of it
