Gideon had been a friend of the East Blackwood Company for some time and a personal friend of E.B.Co Merchant, Beria de Eline.  He joined East Blackwood on a temporary basis during a campaign deep into the Hohld of the Undead Flesh.  After his experiences there, he decided to stay with East Blackwood.
