Official Bulletin of the Echo of the Front

Dispatched in this noble winter of the year 1026 throughout the Empire

EDITORIAL: THE HOUR OF THE IMPERIAL AWAKENING

Soldiers of the Empire, citizens of the free cities,

Winter has fallen upon our lands, but the bite of the frost is nothing compared to the determination now burning in the hearts of our banners. For too long, the enemy believed our silence was weakness, and our tactical withdrawals were routs. In this early year of 1026, the hour has come for the usurper to realize his mistake.

This issue of the Echo of the Front bears witnesses to a decisive turning point. At Lulzhausen, the cunning of our strategists and the power of the mage Hugo Bartez transformed a seemingly easy target into a tomb for opposing banners. Where they expected a swift victory, they found only the steel of the High Guard and the fury of the vargkwens of Rikis Booberi.

But the Empire is no longer content with mere trickery. At Écrins, under the elemental fire of Liliana Von Shlaffenmark, we reclaim what is ours. At Danitant, The Famille le Taré proves to the world that even surrounded, even threatened from the skies, an Imperial banner never bends. And while we hold our positions, our shock forces, led by the Fléau de Mariembourg, are now taking the fight directly to enemy lands.

We are no longer enduring the storm; we are the storm. Let the enemy tremble in their winter quarters: from Trappe to Eisleck, the links of our defense are forging a chain that no one shall break.

For the Emperor, for the Land, for Victory!

Lulzhausen: The Crystal Trap of Mage Hugo Bartez

If the enemy strikes with such fury against the stones of Lulzhausen, it is because they hope to extinguish the light of one of our greatest minds. The answer to their obsession lies in one name: Hugo Bartez. From the heights of his magic tower overlooking the domain, this great Imperial mage has never ceased to thwart the invader's ambitions, turning every adverse maneuver into a bitter failure.

However, it must be understood that if the enemy massed their banners at the foot of our ramparts, it was primarily because the Reiksmarshal subtly invited them to do so. In the Empire's grand strategy, Lulzhausen was designated as an "irresistible bait" designed to draw enemy forces into a deadly snare. Believing they had seized a historic opportunity, the opposing banners charged headlong into what has become, in reality, an open-air slaughterhouse.

To prepare this trap, our allies redoubled their efforts. The sappers of the Dragoniers first carried out a heroic final entrenchment on the domain's turret, while Ragnarok diplomats reinforced the garrison with seasoned mercenaries. This meticulous preparation was crowned by the vibrant speeches of the heralds of Dalabheim, whose eloquence breathed superhuman strength into our defenders.

It was in this context that the melee erupted. The army of the Fléau du Fléau des Norses launched the first assault against the brave souls of Lysanalkaïd. Although our ranks were scattered by the violence of the shock, this initial resistance was but the first act of a tragedy for the invader. Indeed, the enemy survivors immediately threw themselves against Georges-Henri pi sa gang, hitting the steel of the High Guard head-on, which stopped their momentum dead. The battle took a dramatic turn when the Kafe Federation attempted a flanking maneuver, but by pivoting toward the warriors of Rikis Booberi, they threw themselves into the lions' den: our vargkwens literally crushed them.

Écrins: Reconquest by Fire

The domain of Écrins is the scene of one of the most implacable siege maneuvers of this winter. The offensive began under the best arcane auspices thanks to the intervention of the sorceress Liliana Von Shlaffenmark. Leading the college of Imperial mages, she unleashed an elemental attack of unprecedented power, sweeping away five enemy militias before a single soldier even approached the walls.

Taking advantage of this chaos, the Imperial army Ancestor's Might, logistically supported by Ordo Cervi, forced its way from Neurendelle. It now surrounds the keep, supported by the sappers of The Hydre. In response to this pressure, the conscription of the Fils Bâtards raised four new militias, while elite reinforcements locked down the sector. The siege is now total, and the occupier is beginning to suffocate under the fire of our cannons and the trebuchet of Ragnarok.

The Famille le Taré: Against All Odds

The siege of Danitant is becoming the focal point of a fierce struggle. While The Famille le Taré, supported by the expertise of The Hydre's sappers, has methodically encircled the keep, the enemy has decided to throw all its weight into the balance. Desppite the devastating barrages from Kabbale cannons, the exterior situation has grown complex.

The enemy army Skorvald Bjorn has just deployed on the domain, while the traitors of Loki 7 converge for a desperate rescue effort. But the most insidious threat comes from the heavens: the army Surprise, flying the banner of the Black Lily, has been sighted aboard an airship, descending upon the domain to engage in a direct pursuit of The Famille le Taré. The enemy is clearly trying to catch our troops in a pincer move, but Imperial resolve remains unshakable: the steel of the Family will once again prove that this Imperial jewel is protected by a will of iron.

Shock Maneuvers: Imperial Iron in Enemy Lands

The Imperial General Staff has decided to deliver the killing blow directly within the adversary's strongholds. The most spectacular movement concerns the domain of Eisleck, a key enemy position. The army of the Fléau de Mariembourg left Schleissheim to embark on a daring offensive, penetrating hostile territory to contest the oppressor's sovereignty.

Simultaneously, the domain of Trappe is establishing itself as the new convergence point for our banners. While the army of the Orphelins de Grus has taken position there to lock down the region, a foreign threat has been detected on the horizon: the Arganese Foreign Legion is moving toward our lines. This imminent face-off transforms Trappe into a true strategic gateway. Between the flowing reinforcements and the new fortifications rising from the earth, the Empire has not merely drawn a line in the snow: it has erected a wall of steel.
