ChiRo Barasûr III

ChiRo Barasûr III
Voice of the Bladesworn,
Member of The Council
Assigned, Captain Liason of the Embassy Guard
ChiRo and the Bladesworn first served a temporary contract to East Blackwood on the Summer Expedition 1025 R.c.Y to Sarkan. The Bladesworn and subsequently Elyon were signed to a Mercenary Company Contract with Sir Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood later that year at the Oak Hill Festival.
Chirho Barasûr III is the son of the late Count Barasûr II who died during the scourging of the Ember Marches. He was educated for a life at court but had to adapt on his long journey. He fled his homeland together with his wife, Flora Barasûr and they initially tried finding refuge at the courts of other kingdoms. To their dismay they were turned away again and again, for other crowned heads were weary of bringing on their homes the same fate that had befallen the Ember Marches.
Abandoned by friends and allies, they had to adapt to life among strange people with stranger customs. From barbarian tribes to pirate ships, they managed to get by and earn a living. That seemed to be what the future had in store for the two of them until they heard rumours of the Bladesworn.
After joining the mercenary group Chirho made him useful with his skills as a diplomat, ending up taking the role of Voice of the Bladeswron, inspired by the title Voice of the Embers, that was held by the realm's chief diplomat. It was a role he took to with relish, his biggest achievement being the negotiation of a permanent stipend for his group from the East Blackwood coffers.
His ultimate goal is the restoration of his homeland, even if the methods he proposes have brought him at odds with the group's priest that has no idea how the world really works. To this end he uses both his skills as a smooth talker and his joy of hitting people with a very sharp stick. Also, the rumours of his less savoury contacts are completely unfounded and spread around by malicious actors looking to besmirch his good name.
